Nigeria at the Commonwealth Games and African Games
Bobsleigh is a winter sport, so it is not part of the Commonwealth Games or the African Games. It appeared only at the separate Commonwealth Winter Games in St. Moritz in 1958, 1962 and 1966, long before Nigeria had a bobsled team. The Winter Olympics remain Nigeria’s stage.
| Games | Nigeria’s record |

The next African Games are in Cairo, Egypt, from 20 January to 7 February 2027. See the full medal stories on our Commonwealth Games and African Games pages.
