About the Nigeria Hockey Federation
The Nigeria Hockey Federation (NHF) governs and controls the hockey sport in Nigeria; they are also associated to the African Hockey Federation and International Hockey Federation (IHF).
The governing body of hockey sports in Nigeria (NHF) gained big boost recognition at the African Cup for Club Champions (ACCC) when the country representatives did the nation proud.
The Nigerian hockey headquarter is situated in Abuja FCT Nigeria where Patrick Ukah served as president with Chimezie Asiegbu as secretary; in 2026 the federation is led by Engr. Simon Obadian Nkom.
Nigeria Hockey Federation (NHF) is striving hard to make sure that Nigeria hockey players are skilled and well-trained enough to participate in other continental and intercontinental tournaments and championships and not limited to local tournaments which is possible through adequate sponsorship and supports.
