Hall of Fame

Motorsports in Nigeria is not popular but currently, lots of efforts have been channelled into the sports to make it more prominent, there have not been much of achievements or competitions that Nigeria has engaged in but notwithstanding, Nigeria has been represented in championships abroad by Ovie Iroro.

Ovie Iroro, born in 1993, graduated from the department of Mechanical Engineering of University College London. Ovie is the first Nigerian to compete in the British Formula Ford Championship, where he started 10 races in the 2014 season.

Ovie entered the world of car racing at a very young age; in December 2010, he competed in the very first Go-Karting Championship in Lagos where he got a winning award.
